Position/Title: Principal Software Engineer

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and test backend systems for Immunet’s core

cloud applications.

A strong candidate would have the following qualifications:

- 5+ years as a software developer in a startup environment.

- Speaks multiple programming languages, but views C as the one

language nearest and dearest to their heart.

- A working familiarity with modern web languages, such as Ruby on Rails.

- Familiarity with standard debugging tools, including valgrind and gdb.

- Experience with MySQL schema design and optimization.

- Experience with pipeline data processing systems.

- An interesting in doing whatever it takes to glue together disparate data sets in new and compelling ways.

- Willingness to be on pager duty.

- Hungry for an opportunity at a new security startup that will turn heads.

An ideal candidate would have the following additional qualifications:

- Experience with open source search and indexing technologies.

- Experience with designing high-availability and scalable database systems.

- Experience with MySQL backup, monitoring, replication, and

general babysitting.
